Kitchen Creations, A cooking school for Diabetics, is coming to Roosevelt County.
People with diabetes is Roosevelt County will have a chance to learn how to prepare good-tasting food and healthy foods at the Kitchen Creations cooking school sponsored by the Roosevelt County office of the New Mexico Cooperative Extension Service and the New Mexico Department of Health Diabetes Prevention and Control Program.
Kitchen Creations offers recipes and up-to-date information for nutrition and meal planning. People with diabetes are given priority, their family members or caretakers may attend with the diabetic depending on class size. Participants should plan on attending all the classes, which will be held every Monday, for 4 weeks beginning on April 8, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. through Monday, April 29 at ENMU. You will be contacted before the first class with a map to the location and confirmation of enrollment.
