Sandia Seed Stewards - Seed School in a Day

Join us for our first seed steward training. Learn from local seed savers about basic seed biology, selection, harvesting, cleaning, and storage. Begin your own seed legacy by joining in the ancient tradition of seed stewardship.

Participants are encouraged to join the Sandia Seed Steward Project, committing to grow, save, and share seeds that are locally adapted and resilient to changing environmental conditions. Movie screening "Seed: The Untold Story," class materials, lunch, and snacks provided. Training cost is $45 cash at the door. Space is limited to 30 participants.
